Experience earned one animal at a time.
For more than fifteen years, I have opened my home to animals needing a second chance. During that time, I have fostered more than 200 rescue cats and cared for newborn kittens, senior pets, shy animals, and pets recovering from illness or injury.
That experience taught me that exceptional care is about more than completing a checklist. It is about recognizing small changes, earning trust, respecting routines, and understanding that every pet has a distinct personality.
I created True Companion Pet Care to bring that same thoughtful, personalized attention to families throughout Falls Church and Northern Virginia.

What to expect before the first visit.
Every new relationship begins with a complimentary meet and greet in your home.
What happens during the meet and greet?
We review your pet’s routine, temperament, feeding, medications, home access, emergency contacts, and veterinary information. It also gives your pet time to become familiar with me before service begins.
Will I receive updates after each visit?
Yes. Every completed visit includes photos and a written summary covering care provided, behavior, appetite, elimination, and anything else you should know.
Do you care for shy, senior, or rescue pets?
Yes. These are areas where extensive foster experience is especially valuable. Visits are paced around the pet’s comfort level rather than forcing interaction.
Can you administer medication?
Routine medication support may be available after reviewing the pet’s needs, written instructions, and a successful demonstration during the meet and greet. Some specialized procedures may require veterinary care.
How far in advance should I book?
Advance notice is strongly recommended, especially for holidays and school-break travel. New clients must complete a meet and greet and required intake forms before service begins.
